Protocol Updates
@base - Basenames, the fastest way to start building on Base, are coming soon. This week you’ll be able to claim a unique base.eth username to make it easier to connect, collaborate, and contribute onchain.
@Optimism - Are launching new Alt-DA options on the OP Stack. Nuffle and 0G Labs are joining EigenDA, Celestia and Avail as options for teams looking for alternatives to Ethereum mainnet as the data availability layer.
@0xPolygon - Are ushering in a new era with the upgrade from MATIC to POL scheduled for September 4th. POL will act as the self-sustaining fuel that powers Polygon’s growth and development as an aggregated network of blockchains.
@base - Introduced the Builder Resource Kit: an all-in-one launchpad that consists of everything you need to start building and growing your project.
@Starknet - Have published the first vote on Mainnet for STRK holders. The first proposal is focused on the proposed minting mechanism and the conditions for modifying its parameters.
@taikoxyz - The Randcast tool for developers who are building on Taiko is live. Randcast is an on-chain verifiable random number generation service that can be easily integrated into dApps while being blockchain agnostic.
@chainlink - Chainlink Data Streams and VRF are now live on Base. This will deliver lightning-fast market data for apps, with VRF ensuring that random numbers used within those apps are fair and verifiable.
Ecosystem Highlights
@Anchorage - Is the first institutional custodian to support ZKsync. Institutions can securely hold ZKsync ecosystem assets and participate in governance through Anchorage Digital's platform, marking a significant milestone for the ZKsync ecosystem to reach new audiences.
@gelatonetwork - Aleph Zero, the first modular privact L2 on Arbitrum Orbit is live on mainnet, generating sub-second ZK proofs.
@ParticleNtwrk - Introduce the Chain Abstraction Coalition’s latest co-testnet alongside Arbitrum. Through the power of chain abstraction, Arbitrum users will be able to leverage Universal Accounts to freely access dApps in multiple chains, creating a borderless ecosystem.
@MeridianFi - Have partnered with Taiko for the launch of Meridian Lend - you can now lend and borrow assets on the Taiko network.
@odosprotocol - Limit Orders are now available on Optimism, Base and Mode Network. Users can now enjoy simplicity and ease of use, with multi-token trader orders that are self-custodial and trustless.
@Footprint_Data - Introduce the integration of Arbitrum One and Nova on Footprint. Footprint provides the Arbitrum community with comprehensive data insights and analytics tools, including real-time metrics on TVL, transaction volumes, network activity and more.
@YieldNestFi - Is bringing their next-gen restaking solutions to Base.
Media - Spaces, Podcasts and Articles
@StarkWareLtd - Join Eli from StarkWare for an insightful deep dive into Circle STARKs, including the core concepts and methodologies that power the technology, and its theoretical underpinnings and real-world applications.
@Scroll_ZKP - Were joined by Justin, Ulver and Emily from Lore, to explore the latest developments in DeFi and decentralized lending.
@fuel_network - Hosted a space exploring the challenges BTC faces and its potential role in the future of DeFi.
