Protocol Updates
@0xPolygon - The MATIC to POL upgrade is now live! Starting today, every transaction on Polygon PoS uses the hyperproductive token - POL - as the native gas and staking token.
@arbitrum - The highly anticipated Stylus upgrade has been executed on Arbitrum Mainnet. Any developers looking to build on Arbitrum One or Nova chains can now do so in other newly supported programming languages, such as Rust, C, and C++.
@base - Introducing Scaling Base, a new series documenting their technical progress towards making Base accessible to all. To start off, dive into how Base plans to achieve 1 Mgas/s increases each week, as well as their approach to the upcoming Ethereum upgrade.
@Scroll_ZKP - Successfully implemented their DarwinV2 Mainnet Upgrade. This enhancement resolves the L2 block compression issue from the Curie upgrade by enabling uncompressed blobs when needed.
@Starknet - Will be finishing the year off strong with STRK Staking expected to launch in October, and Cairo-Native in December.
@Starknet - Starknet Wallet<>Dapp API is getting a major update with Starknet-js V6. This update requires some actions as it will stop supporting Starknet RPC versions <0.6. Learn how to get ready for this upgrade in their docs.
@arbitrum - Are calling for new candidates for The Security Council, a committee of 12 members who are signers of a multi-sig wallet, and are integral to protecting the interests of the Arbitrum community. Those interested in applying for a position have until September 15th to inform the community via the forum.
@StarkWareLtd - Are partnering with sCrypt to build a PoC bridge design using OP_CAT-based covenants, with a goal to explore the engineering challenges of building a Bitcoin <> L2 canonical bridge.
@0xPolygonFdn - The Polygon Miden alpha testnet just got way better with their latest in v4, including the first version of the Rust compiler and block explorer, Miden Web client as a crate, and much more!
@Starknet - Starknet’s Governance Hub is now live. vSTARK holders can now participate in their first test vote, as they prepare for the first official governance vote happening next week.
Ecosystem Highlights
@growthepie_eth - Improved blockspace tools are now available on growthepie. Use the growthepie "chain overview" page to compare the usage of various categories across many different L2s, including NFTs, transaction count and smart contract information.
@QuickNode - The Base Blockbook add-on is now live on the QuickNode Marketplace. Get access to balances, transactions, and address balance history for addresses via JSON-RPC.
@DapDapMeUp - Have joined the list of contributors building the AggLayer. DapDap will create a custom, unified UI for multiple AggChains — bridging the gap to mainstream adoption via chain abstraction.
@swellnetworkio - Swell is scheduled to launch their L2 in early Q4, and have welcomed several infrastructure partners — RedStone, Ankr, and the new-and-improved Polygon CDK.
@DapDapMeUp - Launched their v2 product: DapDap d’Avinci — the next-gen DeFi Consumer App — which features 25 integrated dApps on Scroll.
@BethelPlatform - BETHEL’s CDK testnet is now live on the AggLayer, implemented by ZEEVE, a trusted Rollup provider and a key player in CDK deployments on Polygon.
@humafinance - The first PayFi network, Huma Finance is now live on Scroll. Huma specializes in expanding the reach of RWAs with their cutting-edge technology that aims to reimagine finance with global payments and instant access to liquidity.
@idexio - IDEX and XCHAIN Mainnet, powered by Arbitrum, are now live. Arbinauts can now check out the one-click onboarding process and connect, deposit, and trade in seconds.
@magnetaixyz - Meet Ardio — the first Action Agent powered by MagnetAI live on Base. Ardio lets you interact with the blockchain by using only natural language.
